well done, good and faithful servant

From the CaringBridge website tonight:

Paul moved on to heaven at 5:35 pm, he went in peace with lots of us by his side. We will follow with more details later, We are thinking a Tuesday Funeral.
Gods speed to Paul,
He will be deeply missed by all of us.

Indeed, we will miss him, pray for him, and ask him to pray for us as well. His absence reminds us that our pilgrimage has not ended, but we are, in fact, still on the way. May hope sustain us.

Reveal your presence,
and may the vision of your beauty be my death;
for the sickness of love
is not cured
except by your very presence and image.

The Spiritual Canticle, stanza 11 – St. John of the Cross

  1. May his memory be eternal!Fr. Deacon DanielPS: Our priest has said that he will sing Panachida (Memorial Service) this Saturday for the repose of his soul and for his family and loved ones. I spoke about Paul in my first Sunday homily during the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul and asked everyone to pray for him.
